iRobo.Activity.Type Text

Type and insert String Text to a selected input field.



Properties

Input

  • ClickDelay - Delay time on executing activity in milliseconds.
  • LineDelay - Delay time between each line of String.
  • PreDelay - Delay time before executing activity in milliseconds.
  • PostDelay - Delay time after executing activity in milliseconds.
  • Text -  String Text to be written in the UI Element. (Mandatory)


Misc

  • DisplayName -  Activity header name.
  • Keys - Collection of keys sequence sent as Text.



Steps of Using Type Into Activity   

  1. Open iRobo Studio, and then open a new Workflow.
  2. Drag Type Text Activity to the Sequence.
  3. Insert String Text or Key strokes in Text field in Properties Panel, such as: "{LWIN down}".

     Note: 

         Key strokes are represented by "{LWIN down}{KEY_R down}{LWIN up}{KEY_R up}".

         L letter: Left Key.

         WIN: Start special key.

         KEY_# : gets the other non-special keys, such as: alphabets, numbers, Operators Keys, 

         keyboard functions keys such as (F1,F2,...)...  and down,up.
  1. Click Save button from iRobo Studio Menu to save Workflow.
  2. Click Play button to start the automated process.
