iRobo.Activity.Read PowerPoint

Returns Text from  PowerPoint Slides in a PPT file extension.


     Note: 

         Before using Office Activities, check Office Automation prerequisites from Office Page.

                                                                                                       

Properties

Input

  • FilePath -  PPT file path. (Mandatory)
  • Password - Enter file password, if it is protected.


Misc

  • DisplayName - Activity header name.


Output

  • OutputText -  Enter Output Text Variable of selected slides.


Steps of Using Read PowerPoint Activity

  1. Open iRobo Studio, and then open a new Workflow.
  2. Drag Read PowerPoint Activity to the Sequence.
  3. Assign String Variable in  Variable Table,  and then add it to the OutPutText in Properties Panel.
  4. File name and path are displayed in FilePath field in Properties Panel as shown in the image below.

  1. Drag MessageBox Activity to the Sequence, and then assign OutputText value to  Message field in MessageBox Activity Properties Panel, as shown in the image below.

  1. Click Save button from iRobo Studio Menu to save Workflow.
  2. Click Play button to start the automated process  to read Text from PPT file and display it in a Message box.
